Poppy’s dream has always been to win an Olympic Gold Medal in Three-Day Eventing. Alex is her mentor and sponsor and Poppy has been in love with him since they first met. Now as the 2008 Beijing Olympics approach, they are in Hong Kong and she is getting ready to compete.

Tensions are running high with rivalry; political dissent against the Olympic host nation; heat and humidity. And to make matters worse, there is a typhoon on its way and Hong Kong has just gone into total lockdown.

Stuck in the Olympic Village, Poppy’s thoughts turn to her horse, Artie, and whether the typhoon or the pollution levels over the city will prevent her from competing.

Ride Like The Wind is a romantic drama based on real events and experiences which took place during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and is an ideal read for equestrian enthusiasts. This is the first of four short instalments available as ebooks.
